A restaurant shaped by the Caribbean and the Mediterranean

NÚM Restaurante & Wine Bar is an independent restaurant in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Limón, Costa Rica. Our kitchen brings Caribbean ingredients and seasonal seafood into conversation with Mediterranean technique. The result is a menu built around local fish, tropical fruit, cacao, coconut, yuca, plantain, vegetables and carefully selected wines.

We welcome visitors and local guests for lunch, dinner and a slower evening in our tropical-garden setting. The menu and availability change with the season and the catch, so the restaurant remains the best source for a particular dish, event or table. Reservations are recommended because the number of tables is intentionally limited.
